The Moonlight Academy Award teaser, which I edited and motion-designed, brought together scenes of the three actors playing the same character, turning them into one emotional, flowing story. The scrolling edit style was a fresh idea for social media campaigns in 2016. Finished just a day after Moonlight won Best Picture, the teaser included the director’s heartfelt speech and celebrated the film’s eight Oscar nominations and three wins: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
